We'll one of the reasons I have been scarce around here the last few days, is because on Friday, not far from where Tyler and I live, a police officer, William Eric Freeman, was shot and killed. I had only meet Officer Freeman a few times in passing, but he was always had time to talk, and even stopped once I was back here in AL to see if I needed anything after my accident.

Now I will be one of many hundred, asking his wife and children, if I can do anything to help them.

You can see Officer Freeman's reflections here, http://odmp.org/officer/19097-police-officer-william-eric-freeman

I read the story. That's so senseless! That makes it even worse!

My condolences for him and his family and anyone affected (including you and Tyler). I wish stuff like this didn't ever happen.
