I'm curious.  For me I love the build-up to Christmas. I spend the month before listening to the music channels and admiring all the christmas decorations outside.  I'm not a huge fan of christmas day though. I love the build-up to it, but the actual day feels like a bit of an anti-climax now that I'm older.  Twas much better when I believed in Santa. <3

The build up to Christmas Day is the most exciting. Even after all these years since I've had a lot of Christmases past to ponder. Of course my childhood was the best ever....that is the feeling that went with the season, snow falling lightly out our front room windows and the corner street light which dimly lit the flakes as they fell on my front lawn. The sight was pretty and pleasant and the feeling was warm inside. Christmas now is service toward others and has been for years since I figured out who Santa really is Tho very cold outside, I'm very warm inside! Absolutely everything! I love the lights, the music, the gift-giving, the movies, the tree, the cookies, the snow (so far none this year, damn you global warming!), the hot cocoa, the smell of hundreds of angry shoppers in overcoats, I love it all. But that super-mega-awesomely-spectatular-tastic feeling in the air that only lingers from Black Friday until the most depressing day of the year (also known as December 26th) is, by leaps and bounds, the best part of Christmas. I dislike New Year's, but my birthday is after that, so I try to stretch my holiday cheer until then.

First, I love listening to Christmas music and seeing Christmas movies, especially It's A Wonderful Life. I watch that every Christmas Eve, and, well, it just isn't Christmas for me if I don't see it. I quite like Christmas dinner as well. The food's great, and the company's even better. New Year's Eve is always something I look forward to as well, since my family always throws a party, and it's a lot of fun.
