It ain't Christmas unless I've watched: 1. A Christmas Carol (1938) 2. A Christmas Story 3. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 4. Dr. Suess' How The Grinch Stole Christmas 5. Jingle All The Way Last one is for totally nostalgic childhood memories, not unlike Spacejam! ---------- Post added 24th Dec 2011 at 11:19 PM ---------- Oh yeah, to everyone who read this and celebrate: Merry Christmas EC! To everyone else: Well Wishes!
1.) Mixed Nuts 2.) The Ref 3.) National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 4.) A Christmas Story 5.) The Grinch or It's A Wonderful Life... Merry xmas, Happy Kwanza and a Blessed Chanukah to all!
1. It's A Wonderful Life 2. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation After that, I don't really care. But those two are absolute essentials. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
The two that matter to me are Miracle on 34th Street (the original, 1930s one) and It's a Wonderful Life. Those are just amazing films and particularly touch me each time I see them.
1. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 2. Home Alone 1 3. Home Alone 2 4. How The Grinch Stole Christmas (the original) 5. The Santa Clause Yesss. Happy holidays, everyone. :] And Merry Christmas.
Home Alone 1 or 2 And for some reason I always think of Trading Places as a Christmas movie lol. It is set during Christmas. Other than that, I'm not fussed about Chrissy movies.
1. A Christmas Story 2. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation Other than those two I really don't care.
In no specific order, my five fav must-see Christmas movies are: Scrooged Muppet's Christmas Carol Toys A Christmas Story National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation I will confess tho, if I only see Scrooged & the Muppets' Christmas Carol, Im usually good to go for the holidays! Honourable mentions go to childhood classics of Frosty The Snowman with Burl Ives & Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer. Yes, those two have both been around forever & the animation is really dated, but I cant help but enjoy seeing them too!
1) Eloise at Christmastime - I've watched it at least 10 times this week alone, it is not Christmas unless Eloise and Nanny (Julie Andrews) are on my TV. 2) The Family Stone - One of the most relatable movies I've seen, you feel like a part of the family in this movie, or at least I do. 3) Holiday in Handcuffs - It's got a relatability similar to The Family Stone, and it's funny, sweet, and so cheesy I only watch it this time of year. 4) National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - No explanation required, it's on everyone's list. xD 5) Deck the Halls - I am going to be the Buddy Hall of my neighborhood someday, and I'm usually a stickler for Holiday merriment, a lá Steve Finch. Honourable mentions go to: Christmas with the Kranks, The Grinch (both versions), the Big Time Rush Holiday Special from a year or so ago, Merry Christmas Drake & Josh, and several versions of A Christmas Carol. But truth be told, my list of essential Christmas flicks is so long, I can't even remember them all. xD
