because that's exactly what had happened to me. Long time ago I was so scared of knowing i was gay.. but more than that i was disgusted with myself... I thought i was some sort of weirdo and I hated myself for it. Now, all thanks to you guys and my bf, i've come to realize i'm not any of the above and i pretty much feel comfortable with my own self now.
So i thank you guys for all your help and stuff, you don't know how hard it was for me to love myself exactly as i was.. and thanks to all your help. I love myself now and I accept who i truly am.

Given me a place where I can talk to other young gay people.

 

O have chnaces to talk to nice pople, they are safe, arent scary liek on myspace or gay myspace, they are always making me happy, and help me struggling through my days

I met the most AMAZING person that I know through here

 

I like it because it's a place where I met teens/adults like me, and even though our first common bond is sexual preference the site's not sexual at all.

Well, at least not until either of the Toms are in the chat room.

Plus I met my Tezzy Bear!!

Although I've only been here for a little while EC is the first-ever forum I've been on - yeah.. I know...late starter :icon_wink

In that short time I've realised how difficult it can be for us out there in the big world. BUT, I've also realised that communities like EC serve and will continue to serve to help, listen and advise in a very supportive, non-judgemental way. (Sounds like a political speech!!)

Also, everyone that I've hooked up with online is so friendly and accepting and I'm amazed at the level-headed, mature responses from (especially) the younger members.

For me, I should have discovered EC sooner. I look forward to making more and more friends on EC. (&&&)

Oh...and I agree about "the Toms"..... :roflmao:

 

Best thing was to help me accpet my self and be proud of it not ashame. also to come out to my parents and the world.

 

Just conversation. This place isn't life changing for me - ### had done all the changes I needed with my sexuality already. I like chatting, and I like making friends. This place is a good place to do it.

 

EC has given me a better understanding of just how very difficult it is for people to come out to their parents.

 

EC (even though I've only been here a very short time) is a place where I can be who I am without fear of being outed. And there's lots of people with problems here, which of course I love to problem solve

EC is amazing....it is so nice to have people to talk to and that understand, even when its not about sexuality. the people on here are great and there is basically no restrictions on anything you want to talk about or need to say

EC for me has just made me loads of down to earth friends who aren't afraid to talk about what they really feel and who don't see a need to keep up appearances for EC.

There's one very special person (who knows who they are), who's always pestering me on MSN (love ya really!!!)
