I kid you not I was walking around in just a t-shirt yesterday. It's like 50 degrees right now and it doesn't seem to be getting any colder. Is it just ND and MN or is it like this everywhere?

I know what you mean. I had to peel layers off during my run this morning.

FOR REAL. It feels like March!
First rehearsal after winter break, my choir director told us they had snow in Midland, Texas, and we still don't have snow here.

It was in the 60's here in Missouri, which is berry odd to say the least. We've normally had 2 blizzard's at this point...The temp is supposed to drop this weekend, then warm back up later on next week. It's all very odd lol

It's seems to be everywhere! It's not snowed since before Christmas, and it's about 7c / 45f where I am right now. The last day it didn't rain or snow was in November.

...there's sypnotics building for the arctic stratosphere to warm though. Cold will most likely be displaced southwards by early February, it's just a question of where.

This actually must be the nerdiest post I've ever made.

Its pretty damn windy here, well was. I heard there was something up with the Ocean's current or Jet stream, can't remember.

Yeah, I'm from Midland's neighbor to the north (Lubbock), and it has snowed three times here, though I haven't been in town for any of them. My friends who go to Northwestern have been having fun telling people from the Midwest that they had a white Christmas in Texas. This past week though, it's been warm enough for short sleeves and shorts during the day (high 60s, which is about 15-20 degrees above normal). That said, 2011 was both the warmest and the driest year in Texas history, and it doesn't look like that's changing much for this year.

thats what happens when you ignore climate change. our climate is govered by various systems that transfer heat, such as ocean currents and the jet stream. when those get thrown out of whack, we get weird climate occurances.

the science is solid, unless your ignorant, and think science is the devil's penis.

-10 here in Anchorage and plenty of snow. Though Alaska is a ways away from the lower 48.

It's actually been quite average here weather-wise, December was a degree or so cooler than average, but it hasn't been too rainy (unlike last December, when it seemed like every day we got enough rain to fill a lake the size of a small country). Unfortunately we're about to get our first heat wave of the summer, something like 35C/95F, yuck.

And everyone's complaining that the forecast summer rains haven't come yet.

It was like 50/60-ish here in Iowa the other day. Not sure what it was today, but it was still nice. It really hasn't gotten all that cold yet this year. It's a nice change after the last couple winters...

The weather has changed here too. It hasn't rained as much at all compared to last year!

I'm from Michigan and I was outside in a T-shirt today. A year ago I was ice fishing right now.
    Just feels wrong.
