I found a interesting website that explain what the Bible really says about Homosexuality, taking from the earliest versions in the original language(Hebrew, well as close as you can get), the difference is quite starting and put people who use the Bible to gay bash in there place.

I'm not really a big fan of "but in the original Greek" arguments, because what they really are all about is interpretation of the cultural context the phrase was originally written in, but they only address that crucial part in passing, lavishing their attention on Hebrew verb agreement paradigms instead. Analysis of Leviticus in this link being typical. They explain relevant grammar in great detail, but the important part, the part about "lying in a woman's bed" not being a generic euphemism for sex, but a specific act of, well, lying in a woman's bed is just stated, without any attempts to show that it's indeed a valid interpretation, that "lying in bed" was never/rarely used euphemistically in other Hebrew texts from roughly the same time, examples of someone at the time interpreting it literally, etc.

Their analysis of Genesis and argument that David and Jonathan were married as marriage was defined back then are much better in this regard, though.

Oh, and what they say about Romans 1... Yes, this kind of relationships was pretty common among Roman upper classes, but claiming it was some kind of "binormative" society and that's what Paul was objecting to just doesn't pass the simple test of comparison with sources on Roman life... Suetonius, for instance, clearly doesn't condone or expect anything of the sort in his "The Twelve Caesars," though he clearly wasn't a Christian (but he wasn't of an upper class either) and constant references to "old republican virtues" (monogamy and heterosexuality being part of them) and their juxtaposition with this modern world of fornication and laziness are common tropes in the period's literature.

It was, in other words, much more like modern times with all its double standards and hypocrisy and yearnings for the imaginary golden age of "virtue" and industry just 200 years ago than any kind of enforced bisexuality.
