I like all pizza. I don't think I've ever met a bad slice before. But I like Mushroom pizza particularly... to answer your other question.

Hungry Howie's is the best in my area.
I wish I could have the fabled "New York Pizza," though. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Pepperoni + bacon is the best topping combo, but ham can work, too.

Grrrrrrr, hit Pizza Hut, but I forgot about the mom n' pop pizzeria not even 5 minutes away from my house. xD

There's this little mom n' pop restaurant near my home that has REALLY, probably the best I've ever tasted. xD I love Pizza Hut since they tend to go overboard on the tomato sauce, which I LOOOOOVE. Domino's is okay, but I generally only eat it when I'm scrapped for cash. I loathe Little Caesar's. I've only bought pizza from them 3 times, but all 3 times, my pizza came out burnt. Papa John's is okay. I prefer homemade pizza over any restaurant since it tends to be cheesier and has more tomato sauce, but eh.

As for types of pizza, I love 3 meat (pepperoni, hamburger and bacon), pepperoni, and cheese (my fave). I don't think I like any other kind of pizza. xD I'll eat Hawaiian, but I'll have to pick off the pineapples to eat them separately. xD

    Papa Murphy's pizza.
Pepperoni & sausage or ham & pineapple.

If any of you have the chance to visit NYC I would recommend Crisy Pizza Cafe on 17th street and 7th avenue. It looks really generic, but they have the best pizza I have had in NYC and I have eat a lot of pizza in the city. its a real New York kinda place. Definitely no Italians there. I think the owner is lebanese and the workers are hispanic, but man do these guys make a mean pizza. I especially like their white pizza.

Papa Gino's most definitely. I am never disappointed with the pizzas there.

Local places are usually much better, but of the major chains, I like Domino's and Papa Murphy's the best. Funny enough, some of the best pizza I've had is from a small place in a small Texas town. I'm trying to find a place here near my school that makes calzones as good as the ones back home. That said, I need to go to New York before I can make a final judgement.

Domino's. It's the only place nearby really, and I don't have takeout pizza that often anyway.

I voted Pizza Hut for the ones listed, but hands down the best I ever had was Scornovacca's Pizza in Des Moines Iowa, a buddy lived there and turned me on to it, if you ever get that way, look it up, thank me later :icon_bigg

    Scornovacca's Pizza North | Home

I like everything on my pie, most fav is pinneapple, bacon and jalepenos.

A good New York pizza slice is an amazing thing.

But... I also really enjoy Chicago-style deep dish. You pretty much never find chains doing that, in part because the cooking time is like 40 minutes.

In the South, there's a small chain (about 10 locations last I checked between North Carolina and Georgia and maybe few other places) called "Mellow Mushroom" that has the slogan "Always Stone Baked" The pizza is absolutely delicious... but the staff really *is* always stone baked, so the service is beyond terrible. They forget to put your pizza in the oven half the time, or forget you're waiting to order. But once you get it, it's great.

And Pizza Hut deep dish is really good, but I wouldn't call it pizza. It's more like "delicious, uber-fattening entree that's sort of like pizza."

As for the rest.... meh. Not my thing, they all sort of taste homogenous.
