Default Age of realization

How old were you when you figured out you were LGBT? I have always known I was different but not until middle school, around age 11-12, did I figure out I was "gay".

Me too, I always felt different and didn't really understand why. But eventually when I was 12 I knew, I didn't like it but I knew.

I knew at about fourteen, which is comparatively late compared to everyone else, and it makes me doubt myself very often.

Oh good lord this is like :S I think I first had exposure to a gay yaoi comic that caught my attention, but it wasn't till I got oral from a friend of mine that I started realizing something different about me. Then over the time we kept doing that, and I started transitioning from primarily straight porn to gay porn and eventually after my.....erm 9th failed relationship with a girl it just clicked in Grade 11 when I turned 17 (no lie, I realized ON my birthday). So that that was me lol

I was 17, and still am, but my dad said he'd known since I was ten... apparently he knows me better than I know myself lol.

I have had crushes on girls since about age 8, but it didn't hit me until I was about 25 that I might actually be gay and not just a complete oddball who didn't socialize much and wasn't interested in dating at all.

I was... 11/12, but I wasn't really consciously aware of it, so I can't call it a realization. I only realized when I was 18, I guess. I'm still 18, so it's a recent realization, even if it's been a long time coming.

I think I was 13 or 14 when I had the scare and started prayed like crazy because of my masturbation habits. But, it wasn't till two girlfriends later when I realized I liked guys. I was 15. It's been about a year actually, it happened sometime is month. I know because I was taking my girlfriend on a date, getting gas for my mom ( she had to drive... Lame), methim in the station, he said hi, and I kinda just melted and realized if he can destroy a sorta crush I had for two months ( it was I liked hanging around her) with some really heavy crushing that I did on him, I kinda just realized. That and I tried kissing her and didn't feel anything, at all. So yeah.. My life story. Hope you enjoyed!

I had feelings for guys since I was around 11, but I didn't realize I was gay until I was thirteen or fourteen. That being said, I was in denial about it until I was 19.

I realized that I was something my freshman year of high school, which would be around 14 because I realized that I liked some of my friends a lot more then others...lol. I did not accept it and start coming out until high school which was last year.

All of my feelings were either denied or ignored until about a year ago. I realized I liked guys and not girls around six months ago, and came out about a month later, when I was still 22. Questions about my gender started a month or so later, just after turning 23, but while those haven't been fully resolved just yet, I'm much less confused.

So for me, pretty much all questions of that sort happened around 22/23 years old.
As opposed to almost everyone else who seems to have known (or questioned) since their teens. I feel slow...

I don't think there's a specific age for me...I've kinda always had crushes on boys since I was little, so I'm not really sure. It's like I've always known, or something....I don't know.
