Am I the only one who hates wearing them? I'm sorry but I don't like the world looking all dark and murky.
Up until a few years ago, I used to despise wearing them. That was partly due to the fact that I couldn't see (I usually wear glasses and I didn't have contacts) and also because I didn't like to see everything shades darker than it really was. Then I got prescription sunglasses... and now I wear them all the time.
Unless there's a medical or other necessity, you don't have to wear them at all unless your eyes are going to be exposed to bright sunlight or bright sunlight reflected from snow.
Have you ever worn rose coloured glasses? They make everything look so awesome! I love wearing sunglasses, but I've never found a pair that looks good on me. I just wear my work-issued ones, then I have a good excuse for looking so funny.
I haven't ever worn a pair of sunglasses that looked good on me, which is really sad because I kinda need them when driving on the interstate (lack of trees = lack of shade). I guess I'll have to take someone with me to see which ones look nice.
I hate wearing sunglasses, but I wear glasses normally already, so I would have to get the stupid looking ones.
I have to because the skin around my eyes do not have pigments because of my vitiligo. you have to keep the skin protected, as pigment helps protect against skin cancer. Also, it all depends on the color of the glass. there are sunglasses that actually brighten color and contrast.
I don't leave home without 'em. Mirrored aviator glasses are my favorite. The ones I'm wearing these days don't really darken anything, they just cut the glare.
Usually only when I'm driving, otherwise I usually wont wear them. But, depends on my mood that day as well.
I wear them all the time. Partly because my eyes are a little sensitive to light (maybe 'cause I wear sunglasses all the time), and partly because I'm a little self-conscious about my appearance (especially my eyes), so I'll wear sunglasses to hide my eyes the same way someone might wear a hat to hide a bald spot.
A few years ago, I hated sunglasses. But then I started to drive and it became necessary. Soon, I started to wear them all the time. I also learned that dark/mirrored sunglasses let me look out at good looking men. :icon_redf
