I did go shopping today and the return lines weren't bad at all. I guess everybody got what they wanted this year! Still....I'm tired. My kids ran me to every store I think.

Here we usually (we as in most Canadians) go shopping... Boxing Day is our equivalent of the American Black Friday.

I didn't... my parents took me to a mega-mall on Boxing Day a number of years ago and that totally cured me of commercialised craziness.

I did take a float plane back from a nearby island where I spent Christmas--it was pretty gorgeous because it's been super-sunny here today and we flew by the university I went to and where I worked for a number of years until pretty recently.
