Anyone else feel like they should write a book about their coming out experiences? Going through a few experiences right now and it seems the stuff of fiction (not in a good way). Kinda down but just theory-crafting about ways to get through it.

Writing is a fantastic way "to get through it." People have been writing through their problems for centuries.

And I would definitely buy and contribute to an anthology of coming out stories.

Yeah, it's just been in my head a lot lately. Maybe I should go for it.

Why is there a difference between cultures of gay and straight? I just am questioning why being gay, lesbian, bisexual, whatever is such an inferior "lifestyle" when looked at by those who deem themselves straight. I guess I look at it as a more normal lifestyle because we have the courage to look at who we are and accept ourselves. I just heard a bunch of slurs walking into my job from a coworker....but he dates a guy who used to work here. I just don't get it, I guess.
