How many of you have been in a heterosexual relationship? Being shy, self-concious, and having little self-esteem, I've never been in a relationship with a girl. So I was wondering what your experiences with the opposite sex were like?
I had one serious girlfriend. I dated her for about six months. It was tolerable, I guess. I mean she was nice enough, but it just wasn't terribly fulfilling. There always felt like there was something lacking. The biggest thing that sucked about the relationship was that she was very, very anti-gay. She thought all gay people were going to hell. Suffice it to say that didn't exactly help my self-esteem nor make me feel any better about myself. It was a very good day when that relationship ended (I literally jumped for joy :lol.
I dated her for about a month and a half, discovered EC, then came out to her a month later. It ended really well, too. We still went to prom and are great friends.
