    I chuckled at that.

It is a good video. It took me back to when I came out to my parents. My god I don't think I had ever been so scared. Thankfully it went well.

I feel incredibly judgemental for feeling likes this but I really would prefer if he wasn't so feminine. I mean, he's just a tad bit stereotyped, and that's not the best for these people the video is directed to, because they might think that's what most gay males are like.

Perhaps, but if their child is not like that, then right there contrast is presented. If their child is like that, then I am sure that they have become a bit desensitised. Regardless, what this guy is doing is still really nice. What he says is true, and he has his own parents being examples of accepting parents. I personally wouldn't use a youtube video to come out, but I think that this is not a horrible idea, for some people.

  8. I, too, was extremely surprised to see a shirt on him. It seemed like a special video so I clicked on it, and what a nice surprise it turned out to be :king:

I know, I didn't even recognize him at first!

Honestly, I coming out should be a little more personal, and not done with what is essentially a form letter. It's still a very neat video, and not a bad idea at all, especially if you can't find the right words yourself. Depending on your circumstances, it can certainly help to have a friend at your side at this pont, and this video could really serve that role.
