"Why being in your 20s is awesome"

haha i totally agree! i have indeed been enjoying every moment of this hot mess of a decade.

 

One year away from an apparently awesome period of my life.

 

haha I loved it. it totally made me smile.

even more, if you follow the link to why being in your twenties sucks, THAT made me laugh and also comforted me to know that other people feel similarly from time to time... lol

 

It seems very much the same as the last 10 years for me so far, or maybe I'm doing something wrong...

 

It does feel pretty good so far

 

I still have about a week to go, but I'm looking forward to it!

 

Have I been doing it wrong these last... 3 years? Just as boring as before. God, now I feel old. I joined EC a few days before I turned 19, lol.

 

well I've been on my own since 17, so not a whole lot is different, honestly... except that a lot my expectations for my life have been shattered... I was planning to be wildly successful and famous, see, and yet here I am 24 and still ordinary lol

and I have all these friends who are married and are now having kids, or who are finishing college/university, and I'm just going back to school, just starting to come out of the closet (so a long way off from dating)... and when I compare myself with my friends who are becoming "real" adults so fast, I worry that I'm getting left behind, but... I'm actually happy with where I am.

after all, no one else can be me nearly half as well as I can! XD

 

I really liked that.

I started off my 20's with the literally the best few months of my life. It kinda went downhill from there but I'm picking myself back up. Really looking forward to the next 9.5 years.

 

NO PARENTS. I love my mom to death, but I love the freedom that being in college and 19 (20 in a few months) gives me. I can go out, do whatever I want, and unless it's illegal, don't have to tell anyone where I'm going, what I'm doing, or when I'll be back. I also don't have to be smothered, and don't miss it. And the best part of all - HOSTING PARTIES!!!

 

And I'm just about three months away from entering my 20's!

 

Meh maybe because i'm only in community college at the moment, but I'm not finding my first year in 20s much different. Of course probably would help if i put more effort into finding a gay community thats not virtual :S

 

Can I hurry up and be twenty in that case. I won't even be 19 until December

 

...It's supposed to be awesome? I'm 25 and I'm still waiting for it to be awesome.

 

Doesn't stop me from fearing being 20 any less.

It's bare upsetting to think I'm 19 in two weeks; my last year as a teenager. :'(

 

I'll be 19 in 6 days. I feel like I'm doing everything I need to do (as in college and work) and I haven't even turned 20. Geez by the time I even turn 21 I'll already be out of college and probably in my first year of law school.
