I might be taking a trip to Los Angeles this fall. I was wondering if there's anyone from LA who can give me some info about it. Things like the level of gay friendliness, places where it's easier to find gay guys, dangerous areas, or particular sights to check out.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

L.A tends to be a very liberal place. It's not San Francisco, but it's still pretty gay friendly. The gay community is pretty concentrated around West Hollywood. That's where they have the Pride festival every June. Santa Monica is nice...visitors usually go and visit Santa Monica Pier. Downtown is pretty cool to hang out at during the day. As for places to avoid, there are places around L.A that are kinda seedy so just avoid going anywhere at night by yourself that you're not familiar with. Have a good visit.
