A fictional LGBT short story that everyone should read

    This is a story written by a friend of mine. I spent over 2 hours reading it, and it was the best thing I have ever read. I can't number how many times I was able to relate to the characters in this story.

    It's a story that will cause your emotions to run wild, so why not give it a try?

    Oh my god.

    It feels like I'm Jonah except I'm closeted but I've told the guy and not the transfer and Cassidy's this good friend of mine who knows I'm gay and the guy I like is the main character except he's the transfer and I have no idea that if he's gay or not.

    Well ok. Not really. But great story! So adorable!

    oh. My. Gosh! How eerie is this? takes me back to seventh grade, when I started on the path to my own self-discovery...this story really connected with me... I felt like Jonah, except without all the being straightforward... All I know is that if this got published, it would be a bestseller. I loved it. Whoever wrote this gets 5 stars from me!!! :thumbsup:

    Interestingly, my first real crush that I fell for last year was named Jonah. Sadly the Jonah I fell for has a girl friend at the moment...

    I do relate to the Jonah in the story quite a bit, although I'm not nearly as confident as he was, but I'm willing to let a guy in without trouble.

    Glad everyone is enjoying the story so far, and it would be great one day for this to be published.

    I love it! I spent last night and today reading it all! I can relate pretty close to Logan. I'd love to read more. Your friend definitely has a gift for writing so well! :grin:

    I put it on my iTouch so I could read a little in bed before I went to sleep, and ended up staying an extra hour or so to read the whole thing. I have no idea if it's legitimately good or I'm just biased because I'm gay, but it was a very good read. :slight_smile:

    It's pretty good!! But I wanted to make kind of an honorable mention to a quote that kind of stuck out to me
    I don't know why, I just really like that quote. It's making me think about things a little diffeently.

    Thanks so much for posting that! I LOVED it. It was so personable and easy for me to relate to his thoughts and feelings. Clearly I'm a little biased because it centered around gay themes but I went to bed happy. Today I was roaming the internet for other similar stories as a result. Definitely post when the author writes more!
