Dreams and Goals!!

well i will only mention my personal dreams (not the social ones)
first thing which most of all i dream for, hope for is Love
after that, getting my PhD in English Literature, getting a job as university Professor, starting my own educational center based on free will, learning at least 3 other languages, buying a sweet little terrier and lots of romantic dreams

I want to be a comedian. I figure/hope it'll happen something like this:

After about 10 years of busting my ass in bars, strip clubs, cruise ships, and open mic nights, I'll get an offer to appear on The Tonight Show as one of their highlighted comics.

A high-ranking executive will laugh his/her ass off, realize I'm super funny, and offer me a sitcom based on my act on a popular network. I will agree, as I have dreamt of this for years.

My sitcom will explode with popularity, making me a star in the process. This will lead to an EGOT for me.

After my sitcom has run its course, it will end. Then the network will offer me a talk show. I will accept, as this allows more time for me to spend with my husband and family.

Eventually, I will give up the talk show to stay home permanently with my family. As I am home, I will write my autobiography, several children's novels (based around the bedtime stories I create for my own children) and a cookbook or two.

Somewhere in there I will also build my dream house (which I already have drawn up some plans for), find Mr. Right, and have a successful family.

Hey, a guy can dream right?

 

Well, my goal about 24 hours ago was 'Get a car'

and now I did that, so time for a new goal right? :icon_bigg

 

Oh! I almost forgot:

I also want to work with The Muppets. My innermost ambition is to sing a duet of Baby, it's Cold Outside with Miss Piggy.

 

I want to be a professional photographer for just about anything! Couples, Parties, Underwater life, etc. It just fantasizes me but I might put that dream on hold to start technology so I can make a lot of money and then go to collage for photography.
My social dreams is to be out to every single person! <3 And also to talk more and be more outgoing. I also want to get married with somebody and adopt!

 

I really want to work as a Psychologist and help people get over fears and anxieties, I love anything to do with helping people

That's not sad, you're young!

I didn't have anything concrete in the way of dreams until like a year ago.

But now, I want to live in a cute little place with mismatched furniture and cool art and lots of books.

I want to get my PhD in Philosophy (I want to study Metaphysics and/or Epistemology) and then teach at a university and write books about philosophy and pop culture.

 

I don't really have any specific goals... so long as I'm happy with whatever it is I'm doing in my life.

I would like to travel though, a lot. I'm sure I could compile a list of specifics I want to hit, but I'd be here for a while

If I could have absolutely anything in the world, I'd probably find work as a photographer. Or maybe as a pastry chef. Though I think photography would be more fun, especially if I get to pair it with international adventures.

For a more realistic goal, I'd like to finish up my university career on relatively good terms and hopefully find a job I'm happy with right out of school.

 

I'd love to be a successful entrepreneur.
I want to own a two-story house and have my room on the second story. (To explain, 95% of the homes in my hometown are single-story, so I kinda see it as a status symbol and I like the loft feel.)
I want to get my pilot's license for some reason.
I want to get my professional engineering license.
And of course, I want to find the love of my life and hopefully have a family with him.
I'm going to travel the world.

My more immediate goals include graduating college, getting internships, improving my rock climbing skills, and studying abroad.

 

I want to be a full time English teacher. Then, I'll get my masters and become a reading specialist, because I want to teach kids how to read. Literature has changed my life in so many ways and I want to open that experience up to others. Maybe down the line, I can get my doctorate and teach literature at a college. At my school, a semester or two before I graduated, I took a class entirely dedicated to Oscar Wilde. I feel like its now my mission to make sure everyone goes through an Oscar Wilde phase in their life. :lol:

 

PhD in some natural science. Not 100% as to which one yet, but currently leaning towards physics.

Visit every every country, continent, and all major/famous libraries around the world.

Learn a few languages other than English.

Live past 100.

ok. my destiny is to worldwide end all oppression of deaf! i want to undo the damage caused by Milan 1880, and make everybody as aware of audism and the destructiveness of the remnants of eugenics on deaf hood as people now know about oppressive craziness of blacks in the 20th century.
i have only begun, i plan to go full blast in DC.
when you see me arrested or on the news talking to the president, remember i told you here 1st.

That's one of my goals too! I want to go to university for pyschology, and then make my own practice in New York City. I would also love to play softball in university!

There's so much else I want to do in my life. But to start off with goals I can reach now, I want to enjoy my summer and have an amazing freshman year. :icon_bigg

 

I want to be a writer or an endocrinologist.

The former is because I like writing long amounts, and the latter is because I want to help other people with similar problems to what i have

 

I'm in school right now studying telecom stuff. So my plan is to graduate in October, get a job and money, and help out my family. I also plan to see a therapist when I get the money to help with my current gender issues.

Less specific plans include becoming fluent in Japanese, German, and maybe French. And to write a webcomic and/or online graphic novel.

I also want to be credited with starting a really lame slang term.

 

I'm not so sure. There are too many different things I want to do, and I know I can't actually do them all . I guess there are really only three things I want:
1. to be happy
2. to be loved
3. to be accepted.

 

Well right now I work in a clothing store and I'm working on getting a promotion to be a shift leader. My mother also offered me a job as a production assistant for her company because hers quit, so I'll be training for that in the next few months and working two jobs.

Career-wise, I'll be studying magnetic resonance in college to be an MRI tech.

Personal life... I'm trying to get comfortable with the fact that I'm pretty much gay. Maybe I'll work up the courage to tell someone. Then find a wonderful guy.

ps. wish EC had a resident gender therapist on here for helping us.
