When it comes to love and dating, do you think you should trust your instincts? I've been contemplating this lately and can't come to an answer I feel comfortable with. For example, if you get the strong feeling someone likes you, or perhaps that someone is being unfaithful, should you trust your raw feelings rather than your rationalisations? Or do you think trusting your gut alone is pure insanity, something that will only lead to wrong conclusions?
The gut can lead you in the right direction, but if reason or evidence say something different from what your gut says, it's better to trust reason and evidence.
