I read an articale earlier today on MSNBC that RENT will be running it's last show in June (I can't find the article now). RENT is the 7th longest running Broadway musical and has help to spread awarness of many issues plaguing the homosexual community, mainly AIDS. I'm sad
I know I'm going to NYC in march but I'm regretting the shows I picked to see now...I'll never get to see RENT on Broadway
nooo! My second all time fave musical is going bye bye?? Aww well, it ran VERY long and it proved to be a hit so might as well close with dignity.
You should see it if it's your last chance. Of course in 10 or 20 years they'll restage it and of course there will always be touring and more regional/local productions, I'm sure.
wha.......wha....wha....WHAT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I'LL NEVER GET TO SEE IT KNOW DAMN YOU MONTANA :tears:
^ Dont worry...I'm pretty sure the tour is gonna keep goin. Every city it goes to it has done pretty well
I basically cried when I read the article about this earlier this week.... Go to siteforrent.com and watch the video. I DID cry then.
oh i almost cried i looked at the shows and i saw that they stop in April and i am confused in ticket master they have the shows go to and i found a show in Washington but its not on the website
Okay, I'm going in March! I can't wait, but i'm still so sad. If I ever have kids, they can never see it. I want to be Mark in the revival cast though!
i might *winces at the word MIGHT* go if i get off my procrastinating ass and get a job and ask my dad to help pitch in
