Well I just made my 6,000th post. That sort of blows my mind because I sure don't think of myself as having made that many comments. I just looked up my join date, and it was in May of 2008. But i really didn't start posting until early-mid 2009, so I guess that adds up to 5 or 6 posts a day on average. Again, I had no idea that I was anywhere near that prolific... I was thinking the post count was somewhere around 2500 or something but I guess it's been a while since I last paid attention. Anyway, just thought i'd take a moment to say how much I have enjoyed being a part of this community over the past 4 years. Dunno how long it will take before I make another 6,000 posts, but hopefully the community will continue to grow and prosper during that time
Congratulations on 6,000! It is an astonishing number, that's for sure. I bet you've helped lots of people with all those posts too! Here's to many more, Chip!

Echoing what everyone's said, you easily make some of the best posts here, because they seem to be a nice balance of helpful yet serious yet sarcastic and jokey when need be. I find Lex is particularly good at that too. EDIT: This made me look at my posts... I have more than I thought too. Interesting <_<
Aye, Chip and Lex are definitely some of the gems of this forum (or at least the ones that shine (i.e. post) most often ). It sneaks up on you. When I hit 3,000, my reaction was basically, "When did that happen?" Then I shrugged and continued posting.
That's great, Chip. And now you've made 5 more since you've made the thread. I'm sure you'll hit the 10 mark in no time :lol: XD
