I love Russian and I think it is an extremely sexy language. Unfortunately I can't speak a word of it.

привет means hi (you can thank Google Translate for the translation ) Funny how you have Russian, French, and English all in your profile info . And I don't speak any Russian, just a little French.
I can only say a few basic phrases, like "Здравствуйте." and "Как дела?", and a few nouns, like "молоко". A friend from Kazakhstan is trying to get me to learn more, so maybe I'll be a Russian speaker before too horribly long.
I know enough to probably get myself around Russia and get in trouble, but I wouldn't say that I speak it very well. I'd love to learn the language better though.
Heт. I've taken Russian language training, but I forget most of it by now. I still know the alphabet though, so I can sound out words (I don't understand them though).
I'm a native speaker, and my family speaks Russian at home. (My actual ethnicity/nationality... "son of two military brats with relatives all over ex-USSR, currently living in the UK" is the simplest way to explain it.)
I took it for a semester last year before I went to Russia on vacation. I don't remember much now beyond a few basic phrases.
The only language similar to Russian I speak is Czech, which is my native language I like Russian, it sounds great but I'm busy with French enough, so no time for this
I studied russian for a while, but I found it quite hard, and didn't really have any motivation to learn it so all I know is basic phrases and words. I might pick it up in the future, though.
