Who would you most likely elect as the next president of the US? Please, one choice only.

I strongly support Hillary Clinton. I have watched many debates and think she would be best for the country. She is smart and has a lot of white house experience. She would be best to run the US in my opinion.

I totally agree with you, Behling. Lol. I think she will do a great job and bring us out of the hole that we're in now.

Hillary is a strong candidate, and will be a strong president... But her foreign policy is utter bullshit.
What we need is a strong Democrat with Clinton's liberal domestic policy and Ron Paul's isolationist foreign policy.

Of those listed, only a few of them stand of chance of actually being elected. So long as the two party system dominates the election rules, really it will come down to just two.

In reality, we have to look at who might win the delegates at the parties' conventions, to determine electibility. It will most likely be Senators Obama or Clinton for the Democrats and either Governors Romney or Huckabee, or Senator McCain for the Republicans. Those five stand the best chance of being the next President of the United States.

Even if Ron Paul were to run as an independent or a Libertarian, he would most likely not garner enough votes to when a single vote in the electoral college, though a vote for him would not be a wasted vote.

Of those six, if I were to vote today, I would probably vote for Ron Paul.

Now, for the interesting question... Will my answer be the same on November 4, when we vote in the general election?

  8. I would preferably vote for Giuliani but I picked Romney because he used to be my governor and did a lot of good for this state so I know how he works a little bit better. But I'm not sure if I'll think the same by November 4th.

I agree. It's either going to be Clinton or Obama for the Democrats and Romney or McCain for the Republican party.

My bad. I wouldn't think he was sane enough to run a country, anyway!

I'm quite surprised so many wants another war mongering supporter of the American military complex and an American empire in the White House.

    (yeah im talking about Hillary)

Dennis Kucinich! If only he had a chance at all :frowning2: he is the only candidate who firmly supports gay marriage.....not civil unions...marriage. Given that Kucinich doesn't have a chance at the nomination I support Barack Obama mostly, my sister works for his campaign and I like everything that I have heard from her and on the news

I wouldn't vote for any of these people. I'm a conservative republican except where it comes to gay rights, so I can't safely vote for anyone.

im more moderate especially when it comes to the financial side of politics, but when it comes to social issues i am uber liberal, i could never settle for any of the republican candidates
