Who Was The First Person You Told?

A friend I met aged 17 at college. We went on holiday with a female friend and I told him one night when we were sharing a room. He was bi anyway so it wasn't difficult.
We're still friends all this time later.

 

I came out to a couple of my friends first. (They are twins, so I told them both.) I then told my mom.

 

I told my mom first. It seemed fair, seeing as she's known me the longest.

 

Stranger really on here as knew nobody back then. First person i " knew " irl was my friend Ben. I never meant to tell him as i was scared how he would react and being my only friend in this damn city it was daunting. he found out however by reading my man status which said i loved my mari and he asked questions.

I outed myself .. How stupid >.>

I told a friend that I really don't talk to anymore... haha. I mean, it went well. But they got really clingy.

 

2 extremely close friends. To be fair, I want to tell my family before I tell anyone else, which is going to take me a bit longer to get around to.

I told my therapist that I thought I was gay and the first person I really came out to was my sister.

 

It's a shame, but I am not even sure with this... But I'd say it was one of my friends and my crush (I thought she was a boy and then I told her that I still liked her even after finding out she was a girl).

 

The first person I told that I liked men was my mom, then my stepdad, my brother, and my sister.

I also told my mom that I was unsure of my gender, and no one esle, except one FB friend whom I met here.

 

I got asked by a friend/crush and said yes which lead to a while long story I won't go into now. The first person I told without asking was also a friend (in retrospect it's probably not a good idea to tell a pot smoking borderline alcoholic you're gay if you don't want it to get out but you live and learn)

 

I first told one of my friends. Blurted it out while very very drunk... but I have no regrets about that night. After that I've only told some other friends. I'll wait w/ telling my parents until I have a boyfriend to introduce them to. Will make things easier I guess.

 

I recently told my professor.

 

The first person untold was my niece. She is a lesbian herself and I knew she would be the most understanding and accepting. She was actually ecstatic when i told her

 

Birth-mother and her husband were the first face to face. Chip, here on EC, was the first period.

 

I tried to tell my mom last year at first the plan was to tell her i was bisexual to see how she would react and then i would come out as lesbian..she didnt take it so well and told me i was going to hell..then i lied and told her i was straight.we dont talk about it anymore..i wonder if she forgot about it..
