I've been a furry goose (at a school summer fête) It's bloody hot in there!

I don't fancy incorporating the fur suit into my bedroom repetoire, but my partner calls me Pooh and I call him Tigger.

I guess you can draw your own sad, sad conclusions from that!

    Which suit would you wear?

My boyfriend has a fascination with pooh in the bedroom...eugh
    I'm sorry.

On topic, I once watched a porno with a guy dressed as a generic Kangaroo topping a guy in a Wile E. Coyote costume(thanks to some perfectly placed holes) and, well, the whole think looked kinda ridiculous - though that could have been the mere fact Wile E. Coyote had the most horrific grin on his face(imagine he's just formed a devious plan to capture the Roadrunner - now add 50 menace points) and that was the image shown on the, admittedly amateur, porn.

I'll be honest, after watching that, I just don't get it, but we all have our own kinks I'm sure that others don't get, so who are any of us to judge, but for me, a costume like this is for a party not an erotic night in the bedroom...unless my partner is dressed as Foghorn Leghorn, then we can talk!

    Lol, d'awwwwwwww. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I think I'm a little bit of a furry. Not like "I want to dress up in a suit and go to anthrocons" furry, but someone who enjoys looking at furry art on occasion (explicit or otherwise). Some of it's actually really good.

You'd never get me in a fursuit - I sweat far too much as it is. But I have a rather strange affection for furries. I've worked a couple furry conventions, and somehow gotten to know not one but two of Denver's major sports teams' mascots. I have a healthy respect for what they do. And there's something very appealing about deciding you like doing something that's going to look weird to the rest of the world...and then doing it anyway. That always kicks ass in my book.

  7. It's funny....I had never heard of this topic until I came to EC. And every time the subject is brought up I think of this scene from The Shining.

If you watch The Shining...the movie doesn't really explain this scene....but if you read the book....it was a 'furry' scene. :roflmao:

Lex - did you manage to keep a straight face when you were typing about attending furry conventions?

To each his own - it seems harmless enough, and if you find it fun, why not.

I'm a fox in case you didn't already notice <3 I'd LOVE to go to anthrocon or something with face paint, a tail, some cute fox ears, and the works  Not a huge fan of full suits tho.

I definitely am, although I don't think I would really ever go full blown suit, but totally clean and/or explicit furry art is fine by me any day

Eh, I think that the costumes can be pretty cute, but I wouldn't ever wear one. I feel silly enough with my Terezi horns on in the safety of my own home. Still, some costumes are sooooooo cute~!

    Massive furfag here.

You don't notice it though because I don't parade it around. :S But it's just part of my generally kinky nature.

    Costumes are fun.

In an erotic context, furry isn't something that I personally find particularly exciting, but it also isn't something I would refuse to do for my partner, if it was something she wanted. I might be pretty unhappy if it started taking over our whole sex life, but as an occasional thing, I could probably enjoy it if it was getting my partner all worked up.

Maybe not full-face masks, though. That makes me feel a little weird. Full-face make-up would be fine, but a full mask where I can't see my partner's facial expressions might be too much for me.

Also, I can see how engaging in roleplay that allows one to escape the context of human social roles could be a great relief for some people. Squirrels are not expected to be manly or ladylike. And also, perhaps while you are "being an animal" you can get away from your internalized ideal of what a "woman's body" or a "man's body" should look like. These issues are particularly significant for transgender people, but really, they apply to just about anyone. No one has an ideal body, and plenty of cisgender people feel stress about being feminine or masculine enough. I'm not going to judge someone for wanting to be free of having to be a man or a woman for a while.

I've dressed in fur suits before. It's not my favorite thing to do though. I have friends that do furry art and I like that. I guess that I'm not a huge fur suit person though.

    Card carrying furry right here.

I've gone to conventions/meetups; I'm pretty plugged in to it.
