I think you shouldn't call the boy disgusting or gross, maybe he just needs to be reminded that you can't have a relationship with a relative. Maybe if he was shown a deformed child it might knock some sense in to him.

 

Frankly, I find nothing wrong with what the boy did. If there are no serious genetic conditions in the family history, the children of such a union have the same chance of being normal as children of unrelated parents. The problems arise when it is made a habit over several generations.

I may have to remind some of you that the European royal families are inbred in a way that makes the average Appalachian hillbilly look like good breeding stock and they are considered the epitome of high class.

On topic, taking your cousin to the formal is bad no matter how you slice it. Beyond the inbreeding conotations, one could assert that this guy is such a loser that he has to have family members as dates. The only thing worse would be taking his mother.
