It's true. Kids say the funniest things sometimes. They often have more insight into complicated matters than any adult every would. Here's my example:

I was talking on the phone with my best friend, Shauna, a few days ago. She has two children, both boys, under the age of four. As we were talking, they asked her sheepishly in the background who she was talking to. She told them it was their Uncle Noah (which made me smile.. never been an "uncle" before) and reminded them that we'd met over Christmas just a few weeks ago. She put one of the kids on the phone and told him to say "Hi, Uncle Noah." And he did. It was so cute. So I said hello back.

    And then it happened.

With the phone still to his mouth so that I could easily hear him, this little child said the funniest thing ever: "Mommy, is Uncle Noah a boy or a girl?"

    :roflmao:

All she and I could say to that was "we'll have to talk about that when you're a little older."

Just thought I would share that to brighten the day a little. Anyone else have a funny story like that?

    :roflmao: I love that!

I think one of my favourites has to be from myself (so vain, I know). But I laughed my head off when my mom told me this story.

Okay, you ever seen Titanic? And in it is a very steamy sex scene?

Well at the time I was only 7 years old and saw said sweaty steamy sex scene and asked my mother "are they having a bath?"

They were sweaty and steamy and I was only 7 before you start questioning my intelligence. Back when I was naive and didn't know about sex. It's slightly worrying to think of my non-perverted non-corrupted self.

aww! those are the cutest things ever!! i adore little children!!

my grandfather is lovely, but he talks too much. he tends to ramble on and nobody likes to stop him, at family gatherings. once, when i was about 5, loads of family were all round. we were sitting together, and he was telling a long story about some wonderful successful friend of his. everyone was thinking "god when will this end". apparently just when he finally finished, there was a pause, and then i said,
"oh, you are so silly, grandpa".

i don't even remember it. my dad says that everyone tried not to laugh, and changed the subject.

It's my favorite part of my job just listening to kids talk. I have all boys now except for one 2 year old little girl. The boys have been into watching Peter Pan, why I do not know. They had our pirate ship out and the pirates. My 3 year old nephew told me I needed to get another ship with Peter Pan and TinkerBell so that they could have pirate battles. Then he just threw in "You can get that for YOUR birthday". (which is next month, same as his) Just what I wanted. So guess who ran out of the shower in a towel this morning at 6:28 and screamed at my husband to get off the computer? The auction on the Peter Pan ship ended at 6:30. I won. My boys will be so happy.

I know, I'm so excited for it to get here! I just have to find a Tinkerbell now that is reasonably priced. That is the only piece it was missing. Here it is!

My dad told me that one time when I was pretty young, when we were watching tv, Lolo Ferrari (google her :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:) was invited on the show and the only thing I asked him was why did she have such a small nose.

"Pokemon?! With the poke and the mon and the wah-wah."
...sorry the title of the thread just reminded me of Bill Cosby on an episode of The Simpsons.

These stories have been great haha! I've got one of my own, too. I was only small and I was in the backseat of the car while my parents were driving through the country. We passed a structure that had a huge sign on it reading STABLE. So I asked mum, "Was that where Jesus was born?" (because I knew he was born in a stable hehe)
