I know there were some people getting results today so how'd everyone do? I got A*AC when I needed AAB. My first choice wouldn't take me so I had to go with my back up. I'm not too upset, it's in a nice place, the course is okay and I'm only dropping down a few places on the league tables. I'm angry though: I got told my History coursework was A grade when it got marked as a D by the exam board, and that dragged my overall down to a C and lost me my place.

College admissions in the UK seems so weird and regimented to me. I can relate to not getting into your absolute first choice, but I still couldn't be happier where I am. I'm sure you'll do great wherever you go to school.
