I've found that I talk differently around straight guys then I do around my girl friends or guys I know arent straight. For example, I'll say "Thanks, man." as opposed to just "Thanks" to a straight guy.

    Anyone else do this?

Yeah...around my straight friends, I always watch my actions and think before I talk or act...but around my friends that know I'm gay, I act really different, that's for sure.

When I'm with my gay friends, I say things like "wow you've got a cute ass!" but I don't with my straight friends.

Oh... wait a minute... that would be with my bf. I guess I don't act or talk much differently depending on who I'm with.

At school I act as whatever comes naturally to me, but I know that at work I usually try not to be so obvious...most of the guys I work with are cute and I try not to make that fact obvious.

i tend to be a little more aware of how im acting when im around my guy friends but not so much with my girl friends. i think its most likely because guys tend to be more judgmental about your behavior (aka whether its gay or not etc etc).

I have different personalities for the straights and gays. Well, more the Christians and the people who love me for me. I try to make them as comfortable as possible.

I try to lower my voice; because I don't want them to think I have a high voice on purpose. And I try to stop myself from saying "geesh that guy's cute."

But with my friends that love me for who I am, I can go on man hunts :]!
    even the straight ones, lol.

I'd like to think that I'm fairly consistent, lulz. I couldn't really imagine turning on/off facets of my personality to escape judgement from "friends", imo.

its not about "turning on/off facets of my personality." at least in my case, it has nothing to do with personality, so don't make that generalization.

I make really perverted jokes around my straight friends, but I act really "gay", like use stereotypical gay phrases and stuff around my gay friends.

I didn't mean to offend, heh. My statement probably seemed much more bold than I meant for it to be. The whole "thanks man" thing is probably just something you've become used to saying around guys simply because it's something boys say.The reason I said that (and this isn't directed at you, lol) is because it usually goes a lot deeper than that.

and to Kato... this post? i did it for the lulz.
    haha
