For some reason it seems like my lgbtdar is more in tune than it ever was before I came out. Went to the mall today - saw two guys walking together, one had a baby and the other guy patted him affectionately on the back... best guess is two dads raising a child which is cool. Then upon leaving saw another lgbt couple walking in. Jw. Has anyone else noticed more LGBT people after coming out than before?

I think so. I think it is sort of becoming more popular. I was at a mall a few weeks ago and two girls were holding hands. People stared but I think that in today's society maybe it should start to become the norm.

I've been noticing more but I think that's only because there are a ton of lgbt people in my school.

    Not really. Here, anyways.

But while I may not be noticing more LGBT people, I'm noticing waaaayyyy more support. From the most unlikely people.

Yeah, but it's 'cause I'm in the school of the Arts. SO many theatre, music, fashion, artsy men around! But I can't really tell about girls so much, or the LB part of LGBT...

Not really, but I have a terrible gaydar. Although a few weeks ago I did see a lesbian couple in the mall, who were really cute together. But I have heard more talk of LGBT things/people.

I'm at a pretty accepting college... so I see a ton of LGBT people.

It's the same in the electronic media/journalism/visual communication design majors..

I been noticing it often i live in a pretty small town so theirs a lot straight men in the closet. I was hanging out with a guy from high school i haven't seen in years and i was surprised when he mentioned the sexual fetishes he liked we did hooked up. if you look at him you would never think he would do anything gay. My gaydar did tick when i always saw him out in stores or wherever. So i guess i was right

And also working in the hospital a lot of the guys that works in there seems like they are kinda gay or bisexual especially the nurses/aides.

yes, especially when i go to new york city mainly manhattan. it's weird. i've noticed that ever since last year new york legalized gay marriage, it seems like gays are everywhere in new york. weird.

If this is true, it's one more reason I need to travel to NYC one of these days.

Yeah, totally! I always look around (when I'm in some big city) and literally search for LGBT couples or people that look like LGBT

No, not really. I haven't seen or heard of a single gay-male couple in my town - not at school, not whilst shopping, not in town. However, as I have said before, I have seen quite a few lesbians in my school (none in places like he shops, though). So no gays my end, but loads of lesbians.

I live in Amsterdam, it would've been impossible to see more LGBT people than I already did.
