Do people on hormone replacement therapy still have a penis? Please don't get mad, I know it shouldn't matter because it's feelings, but I just am curious. Also, for ftm, how would they make one? And for mtf, how would they make a vagina? Again, I don't mean to offend anyone, it's just that no one ever told me.
Re: This will make me seem retarded, but… Hormone replacement isn't going to change physical genitalia enough to make them appear or disappear. It may have some effect but nothing that drastic. Surgical reconstruction generally involves inverting the genitalia - i.e. the penis is pushed into the body and it forms a hollow tube, or (parts of) the vagina is pulled out and reconstructed to form the penis. You can kind of think of it like the fingers in a glove, which are pushed out when you put the glove on and pulled in when you take it off.
Re: This will make me seem retarded, but… Hormone treaments can add things, but won't make anything magically dissappear. For your other questions, it is pretty easy to search on google for "sexual reassignment surgery" and find results.
