    So, I never thought that this would ever happen to me, never actually thought it was ever a big deal, so I am just curious what you think and if you have been in a situation like this. First of all, I wear briefs...they are comfortable and I like how they feel and look. I was at the gym with this guy I met recently... He is really cute and I am pretty sure he is straight, but anyway we went to work out and as I was changing he was like "really? tighty whities?" and I said they were freaking awesome and he laughed. and that was pretty much it. It shouldn't be a big deal I don't think.. but it made me feel a little embarassed, IM NOT GOING TO STOP wearing them though. Boxers or briefs is an age old battle... but I thought it was really not something people cared to much about.. or is it just me?:confused:::confused:icon_redf:confused:

    It's silly. He was just trying to dig you to perhaps start a conversation. Was his laugh friendly? Or his approach at all good, attitude-wise? If he didn't want to start a conversation, he wouldn't have said something. I think, at the least.

    it was a tone like when you're playing around with friends... if that makes sense...it was a quick up down check, comment, weird sideways smirk and a giggle...I dunno what that means... but im pretty sure it wasn't malevolent

    It mostly sounds like it was just a friendly jab. I wouldn't think too much about it. Hold your head high and strut in those tighty whities! :grin:

    I don't see what's wrong with it. There's something about briefs on a guy that's kind of appealing. And same with boxer briefs.

    Wear it with confidence and no one's going to judge you for it.

    That's sort of taboo amongst straight guys...

    I mean most straight guys wouldn't say anything unless they were thongs, pink or polka dot briefs, or something.

    I think you might need a gaydar for your friend...

    He was probably just trying to be a funny guy, I don't think it's a negative attempt to make you feel bad though. He probably just wanted to be a funny guy, that's all.

    Briefs are weird that way. If I see someone wearing white boxers or white boxer briefs I don't think anything of it. But white briefs seem childish to me.

    However, briefs with a cool color or pattern... :love:

    Edit: Not that it matters though. You should wear what makes you comfortable. That's true for all clothes, but especially undies.

    I remeber this conversation when I was living in D.C. I made a comment about his wearing little boy underwear, and he came back with that it was mighty big talk from a guy in pink monogramed boxers (a gift from my wife) :roflmao:.

    Does it really matter? If that's what you like, that's what you like. All I ask is that they be clean and in good repair.

    I wear briefs when I play football as do most, but other times I have boxer-briefs.
    Can't stand ordinary boxers cos you're forever making adjustments, so to speak.

    Back to the point of the OP: maybe he wants to wear briefs but thought they weren't worn by many people. Maybe he'll get some now he's seen you wearing them.

    BTW, I notice a member in this thread has "banned" under his username. How's this that he posts?
