wow lol they must of picked the dumbest people in the world to answer those questions lol. I'm 16 and many of them were adults and they didnt even kno like any of that crap lol. thats pretty rediculous lol.

 

I don't know whether to laugh at these or be ashamed to live in the same country as these people...

 

There's a Canadian comic called Rick Mercer who does this segment called (I believe) "Talking To Americans" that is similar to this, but he threw in lots of questions about Canada and Canadians or funny made-up stuff like that we were celebrating the completion of our national igloo and oh my gosh, it's just really hilarious what bizarre responses you can get from people off the street.

I would love to use this to further my Canadian superiority agenda but I suspect that you could probably make similar pieces about "regular" random Canadians (especially from Alberta--ha ha, in-joke). Still, you would think given the frequent media coverage (read: over-hammering) of certain things in America that people would have had better responses to things like "coalition of the willing," "axis of evil," and "collateral damage."

 

The last one was sort of a trick question. Okay, not a hard one, but usually people think "If you beat second you are first." and that seems logical.

Anyways, everything else is inexcusable and projectile vomitable.

 

I have to admit it TOTALLY stumped me, and I'm Canadian, so it must be a very hard question.

I couldn't stop laughing at "Do you think we should move tanks into Gilles Duceppe?" Every American said "yes". And i must agree :icon_wink .

I'll give the first person who gets why thats funny a cookie (non-Canadian residency required).

 

I immediately discard these because segments like this only highlight that the person speaking is stupid. Given that I work in video and my degree is in video, I can tell you honestly that this is very much edited to show only the dumbest of the dumb.

What boggles me is that people still find it funny. The raw footage on stuff like this is funnier because it's not just beating you over the head with constructed stupidity.

They picked out the most stupid people on the streets. I mean come on, a few of those people were homeless and had obvious mental problems.
