Prentenious: as a word, I like it, but people misuse it too much, which gets annoying.

    I'm sure there are others....

Reminds me of words like "leadership" and "role-model" that we get all the time at school.

"Now, children, you're becoming the seniors of the school; you need to be the role-models for those younger."

    *rolls eyes*

    Genius.

I seem to remember, one kid felt he didn't fit in at school, so he planned to go on one of those murderous rampages. Didn't get very far, no shots were fired. Before it, on his blog, he wrote the funniest note I've ever seen, but sadly I can't find the article. He basically said something along the lines of 'im the posterboy for the guy on the borderline between geneous and madman'. Yeah, he called himself a 'geneous'. There's a bitter irony in it, really.

People using "init"...instead of "isn't it". Even "ain't it" would sound better!

Lol. >.< No doubt in my mine. I hate that acronym. It should go flail around inside an eternal void of lame.
That and pretty much everything that's already been said. Plus any word anyone uses that they don't understand the meaning of.

"zomg" (whenever I look at that, I always read it as zomgee, like a zombie with a g :roflmao: )
"XD" (it took me the -longest- time to figure out what that was when it first showed up online)
"that's due to the fact that" (I just hate this phrase altogether, and what sucks is that 'that's due to the fact that' it's hard to say it any other way)

Those are the ones I can think of at the moment.
