I love terriers. My parents have a cairn terrier, and he's just the cutest little thing out there

The only dogs my family has ever had have been Labrador Retrievers (as a child, I had a yellow lab, at my grandparents house they always had a black lab). Although my one cousin had a Golden Retriever instead.

I am biased toward border collies; such happy, friendly pooches!

Don't do this to me. Oh geez, the standard Golden Retrievers and Labradors, German Shepherds (particularly white ones), Australian Shepherds, Huskies, Basenjis, Rhodesian Ridgebacks to name a few.

Either a Brittany, or a Standard Longhair Dachshund.

Haha, my twin got a husky puppy- currently six months old and so crazy hyper it's hard to live with her. I have a yorkieX myself.
A favourite breed of mine is the Australian Cattle Dog. They're so smart, great endurance, and very loyal to one person. Someone I know is planning a second Wolfdog litter in a couple of years, though, and that will probably be my next one. Definitely a different experience than your average dog...

I love nearly any big dogs; my favorites are golden retrievers and huskies. But I have a special place in my heart for corgis. They're just so adorable! And when you breed them with other dogs, they become the greatest thing!

    Here's a corgi/black lab mix:

    Here's a corgi/husky mix, a.k.a. my favorite dog that I've ever seen:

I love dogs, especially big dogs! My problem is that I'm too much of a softy, so I can't handle the large, dominant breeds. For 3 months, I babysat a pure white german shepherd/husky mix who was 6 months old when I met her. She was almost full-size though. She's the cutest and most beautiful dog, and she's really playful and funny. But with her GSD and husky genes, I was like a doormat to her haha. I was just affection, affection, affection, so she never listened to me when it came time for discipline.

So as much as I like most large breeds, when I actually get a dog, I have to go for the more mellow, eager-to-please, and obedient breeds. I'm like 99% sure I'm getting a golden retriever for my first dog! They're so sweet and people-oriented. I also love samoyeds, labrador retrievers, and greater swiss mountain dogs, to name a few. Great Danes and Newfoundlands are also sweet dogs! I've also met some large mixed dogs who are also very sweet.

I love German Shepherds, Huskies, Dachshunds, and Corgi's. I used to have a German Shepherd/Shar Pei mix that was my absolute favorite dog. I also had a Corgi that used to follow me everywhere. Right now I have a Siberian Husky, but he is a little to wild for me to play with. But he is beautiful.

Pomeranians (maaaw!), Finnish Shpitz, and Shiba Inus.

What do they all share in common besides uber cuteness? Ancestral breeds who were originally large dogs.
