I completely agree with that. To me, life has never been about money or fame. Since I was little I knew my dream was to find someone who loves me unconditionally, and for me to love them the same way. Not only that though, I've recently found that without close friends, life is damn near pointless.

For me, the meaning of life is just finding what makes you truly happy. For some people, that's a relationship, for others, it might be finding inner peace, for others, it might be helping other people. It varies from person to person.

 

To do as much good as possible and to develope relationships with people that get me through my years!!

 

i agree with ohioboy completely. i just finished reading a novela for my ap spanish literature class called San Manuel Bueno, Mártir by Miguel de Unamuno and it revolved around this catholic priest who really lives for the moment and tries to do whatever he can to help others and develop strong relationships with his community and parish. As he is dying towards the end of the book, he reveals that he doesn't actually believe in heaven or any kind of afterlife (which all of a sudden became extremely existentialist, considering that he was a catholic priest and all). He said that his faith didnt stem out of looking forward to what could be after life on earth, but rather he devoted himself to leading a full life on earth. It made me think a lot. We only have so many years on earth, and no one knows for sure if there is something beyond this. With that in mind, I think it is important to live every day to the fullest, develop lasting and wonderful relationships, do good for others, and more than anything do what you love

 

There is no meaning to life. it is one big accident continuing onward as one big snowball effect.

the meaning of life IMO, is to love, grow, and build.
Love: Obviously as humans we seek someone to love us
Grow: We all can learn from other people and share to other people
Build: Build a better world (cuz right now, in all honesty, the world SUX)

 

The meaning of life is to learn to love unconditionally. We've got a long way to go!

 

To better ourselves. To learn to the fullest extent that we can. to help other people as best we can. to leave ignorance and prejudice aside.

Some people say when you have children/find true love you'll know

 

I think that it is to help others through there life and help others. To make the world as wonderful as possible for everyone. To be kind and help others. And to grow in knowledge and love. To develop good relationships with everyone. To love everyone.

I do not believe life has an inherent meaning. However, I do believe that we, the collective human race, ought to make it our common goal to pursue a better tomorrow, to make life easier on the upcoming generations, and never to allow the freedom that is human imagination to be squelched by doctrinal authority (religious, economic, political, whatever).

Well personally I am a hedonist, so I believe the meaning of life is to make sure as many people as possible enjoy themselves!
