Is anyone else having This issue I mean I thought I might have become straight for a while. All of the websites have like three good videos and the rest the guys all look like skeletons or are just plain gross. Note when I am not watching porn I love guys and think guys are hot it just seams that most porn is really bad. There are a few good ones out there though.
Couple things. Hi! Welcome. First thing is that porn doesn't really help you to find your orientation. We just like seeing people in erotic states. Second thing is, yes, a lot of gay porn is pretty bad. From anal sex at one speed, to videos with no kissing, to videos with aggressive kissing like it's combat, there's a lot to be desired in it. At least unlike a lot of straight porn, we don't eroticize rape fantasy (well... not quite as much anyway). There's some good stuff out there though. I'd recommend adding the word "gentle" to your queries if you'd like to see people being treated like human beings. What's the body type you're looking for?
Well, gay porn isn't what it is cracked up to be. Usually gay porn consists of very low budget movies, with a couple of bad actors, a cheesy plot, with no substance and heavy on action. If there are some that you like, well that is okay. But sometimes your imagination is so much better than even the best porno movie out there, especially if you love guys and think they are hot.
Have you ever considered watching amateur porn? There's a lot of allure to porn made by people who made it because they think they're sexy and they want to show off that sexiness to the world. What you lose in quality of film-making, you gain in the genuineness of what the actor/actors are doing.
I always just watch heterosexual porn and look at the dude. Turns me on a lot more than gay porn. I rarely watch porn though, I use my imagination a lot. Oh if only some of my friends knew the things I did to them in my mind...
it depends on what you're looking for. you should just keep searching around til you find something you like. i know there's people that hype up certain porn stars, porn flicks or whatever and those movies and actors don't do it for me at all. also, just because you're not really aroused at gay porn doesn't mean that you're not gay. and as for figuring out your sexuality through porn, being aroused at porn whether it's straight, gay or whatever doesn't mean anything. you can still get off to straight porn, women or whatever and still be gay as can be when it comes to dating and having sex with women. i'm saying it from first hand experience. porn as a means of validating your sexual orientation isn't a good idea. you can use it to help steer you towards your destination. i used to masturbate to pics and videos of women all the time but yet i wasn't even remotely attracted to them romantically or sexually. certain things would happen when i would do it to such as unwanted thoughts of guys popping up. it was very upsetting how i could masturbate to a woman but couldn't even translate that to romantic or sexual feelings. that's why i don't even bother to do that even more. it's rather upsetting.
Weird, I had the exact same thought a week ago. Usually it's two really buff dudes or two emos going at it (I care for neither). It certainly takes some searching to find anything good. This is easily one of my least favorite things about being attracted to men, the porn sucks.
Tumblr is the best 'content aggregator'... just putting it out there. If you see something you like, go to the source it was reblogged from and chances are their entire blog is dedicated to similar stuff. Tumblr's also very safe when it comes to viruses and seedy advertising, unlike proper porn sites.
I was just thinking this the other day. A lot of it is really fake and over acted. Looks like it was shot in someones basement lol. Sometimes I will just look for straight porn or as someone mentioned "amateur" porn.
I really really hate traditional porn (gay or straight), with the cheesy music, silly settings and scenarios, unrealistic models, etc. There's a certain charm of authenticity that's missing compared to amateur porn. So, amateur all the way...
i think one of the big downsides of gay porn is that a lot of these actors are actually gay for pay. some of them are even homophobic and are vocal about it. they bring it out in their performance. they don't even look or seem like they're enjoying it at all. that sucks because some of those guys are really hot too. such a shame.

Some of the straight stuff is really good because the actors are both enjoying it. Gay for pay guys stand out like crazy and there are waaay too many of them.
I kind of disagree with the guy that said porn can't help you regarding your orientation. It isn't the most major factor of course, but it does at least show you that gay intimacy is both normal and undertaken by all kinds of men of all body and character types. I found this helpful since mainstream media likes to portray gays as affeminate sissy types. I;m not like that and I initially thought I had to be.
Yeah that's what I did, but like, with the chick lol. And amateur porn is MUCH BETTER than even that. I've watched gay porn and I couldnt get over how fake it was. And gay chicks porn videos are easily the fakest thing my eyes have ever seen. It's for those reasons I just don't bother looking up porn. My imagination is better anyway!:eusa_danc
I, too, thought all porn sucked until I saw porn with a real lesbian in it. She accepts no faking, and it totally changed my whole opinion of porn. What you need to do is find the name of a pornstar in a video that you find to be doing everything right, and stalk the hell out of their other videos. Seriously. It will work.
