Maybe genetic autism is different to the autism which is induced by the pills? I have an autistic nephew. He's a happy camper but it is really difficult to get him to do something he doesn't want to. I think the pill might work by allowing people to retain the sense of...for want of a better word..normalcy? so, they won't be completely "austistic" but they focus more? and then when they're ready they just pop the pill to turn them normal. I don't think the effects would be completely immediate though. It might take a while to get going. That's my 2cents.
