the first thing you posted on EC?

My first post was in the Welcome section. I was so nervous I couldn't even type out everything I wanted to convey. It took me half an hour to finally post it because of those nerves. xD

 

I can't find my first post, but it was on S&A the night before my birthday. It was this huge depressed rambling of why I thought I was gay and part of my school experiences. Of course a few months later I came out as trans, but I got so much help on that thread and it really solidified EC as my home

The first posts I made were in the Anon section, and I have no desire to go and find the thread although I know I can. My first signed one was in the Funny Coming Out Stories thread; contents:

I have too many posts, so I can't find, but I know that the first thread I commented on was a thread about Korean drama.

 

This was my first post. I was scared out of my mind when I posted it. This was when I thought that I was bi. I was so nervous when I typed that...

 

The first thing I posted was my welcome thread.
It's pretty generic and bland, looking back on it.

Though I'm positive it was an advice topic, because I didnt make a welcome topic and I'm always giving advice lol.

 

Well, it wasn't so long ago, but it feels like ancient history already

They haven't changed their minds in the last 3 weeks either. Mrs Best Friend even indicated which picture of me she liked best as a FB profile pic.

Wow I can not believe that was 4 years ago.

So what was interesting, was I was on vacation for 2 weeks when I joined. I was worn out from a major project at work so I just stayed at home.

I'll never forget the day I joined. I was in the shopping center across the street from my house. I was just coming out of the roundabout, pushed in the clutch to shift to second and said out loud to my self. Holy shit I'm gay. That was the first time I had courage to admit it.

I came home and googled for gay support forum. Found this place. It took me a couple of days to post, but the rest is history.

Just thinking I can not believe how far I have come.

 

Well I've realized that I only like men, and I also don't live in England anymore, so alot has changed since then

I know one of the hardest things to do is keep your temper when someone irrational is exploding at you, but whenever you get that really, really, really, small voice of consciousness in the heat of your rage, try to grasp that and just walk away. 'course that's really hard to do, eh.

But I'm golly sorry about your situation. But just like I say when I feel on the brink of a melt down: 'Relax, God is in Control'. It doesn't matter what we are, I KNOW with a fiery certainty that God loves all of us on here, and will look out for us, you just gotta reach out. I'm not tryin to preach to ya or nothin, but that's always an option

That was my first post. I was helpin someone with some troubles about somethin. Heh, it's funny how different I feel now when making posts on EC when compared to when I first joined!

 

this. when i first registered and made the thread, it felt like i was about to hear some very bad news. i knew that i was going to be told something i didn't wanna hear or like and when the responses came, i was in disbelief like my worst fear at the time was real.

 

The first topic I posted on here ( besides an introduction,) was regarding whether being LGBT wins you a ticket to hell. It is my firm belief that we are judged not by our sexuality or whom we fall in love with, but by loving others, supporting others. The bible doesn't say anywhere that we should be basing love and affection on whether or not a person has a penis.

 

My post history doesn't seem to go far enough back. Judging from my join date I would guess it had something to do with me coming out to my parents for the first time. I can't believe it was all the way back in 2007.
