As a biology major, I am just going to say (my opinion?) that evolution is not really something you can believe in like religion. I mean, the fossil evidence and continental drift species similarity is there. (ie, organisms that are similar but continents apart unless you put them together in Pangaea) history of geology is kind of a basis to evolution theory. Not to mention like, vaccines and antibiotics. (my opinion again I think people who don't believe in evolution should be denied of antibiotics... we don't want to evolve pathogens..
I'd say the infographic for evolution is a bit misleading...it should show the branches of the cousin species...
A part of me is delighted by the fact that powerful industry brands are choosing to be progressive. However, all the drama that it tends to produce is really sickening.
I second (or third?) the sentiments of Pseudojim and Dr. Farnsworth. Why are people getting so offended by junk food, lately? It's a commercial; get over it! I'm more offended by their suggested serving sizes than their ads. 3 cookies, really Oreos? ---------- Post added 23rd Sep 2012 at 10:44 PM ---------- I'll also add my agreement to the statements of Artemicion and Ventus.
Yes, get political about Dr. Pepper, creationist non-intellects! All I can say is Thunderf00t. Get owned.
Yeah, you get mad about this when one of their primary ad slogans lately is "Dr. Pepper Ten - It's Not For Women!" Good grief...
This is a bigger reason not to drink that crap anymore honestly. It's in bad taste but I feel that religion gets in the way too often.
My reaction: it's a freaking ad. Nothing to argue about. There are too many religious nuts who take everything seriously.
