Is it weird to have a fetish

Everyone has some sort of a fetish. Having a fetish isn't weird at all, some are treated as a taboo by other people but so long as it's consensual there's nothing wrong with it

 

Didn't know liking guys in uniform (or girls for that matter, I've found it really does the same exact thing) was a fetish lol.

 

No, a uniform fetish is fairly common. It's not weird at all and rather "vanilla", lol.

 

Fetishes are perfectly normal and healthy to express as long as it is done in a safe environment with someone you trust.

Plus, as far as fetishes go, a uniform fetish is very mild or as Lance put it, "Vanilla."

 

As far as a fetish that is a pretty mild (and common) one. Plus there isn't anything wrong with something that turns you on.

I actually recently got drug to a "fetish" group on my college campus. It was a very interesting experience. I suddenly realized how vanilla I was. The only fetishes I have ever taken interest in are like gender transformation and forced feminization type stuff. Things clearly resulting from me desiring to be treated like a girl during sex. Since I'm trans I don't think those even really count.

I feel kind of weird not having any real fetishes. I know people irl with stuff like diaper and balloon fetishes. Why do I have to be so boring? =(

 

I do, however, have a wierd fetish if u ask me... I like to wear other people's underwear and socks and masturbate in them (clean and dirty, take a bath right after it)... Do you find that wierd?

It's absolutely perfectly normal. Don't even begin to worry about it, just enjoy it.

 

Unless the fetish can potentially hurt someone (like pedophilia or "180 days of Sodom"-esque sadism), then it is completely normal. Actually, I think Lex might be right on the nose when saying it's probably odder for someone not to have a fetish.

Uniform fetish is totally normal. My most normal fetish is getting handcuffed. I'm weird.

 

depends on the fetish... if it involves pedophillia or beating the shit out of people (like 'Twilight' and '50 shades of grey' respectively, it becomes unhealthy.) If it is simply like someone in a uniform (often a sign that one is attracted to authority figures, and you can unpack that in alot of ways, positive and negative depending solely upon how you behave in such a relationship), there there is nothing weird about it.

While someone's fetish may seem wierd to you, or your fetish may seem wierd to someone else, it is not wierd to have a fetish. Nor is it wierd to have more than one fetish. The key words in the former sentence were "may SEEM." It's like this, what may seem (there are those key words again) kinky to you, is a regular activity for someone else. The same can be applied to fetishes, sexuality, and even life.
