I'm home alone a lot of the time, and I like to freak myself out. In the spirit of Halloween, I want something that will really scare me. I only want movies and stories and things like that, no pop-up pictures, or things of that nature. I'm going to be alone tomorrow night, so this should be fun.

Have you ever read The Monkey's Paw? That story has always been really creepy to me!

But seriously, check out the "scary stories to tell in the dark" series. The illustrations (in the original versions) are absolutely terrifying. Just image search the title. Might be available online.
    But be prepared first.

I second that, you should give those books a read if you haven't read them. I remember my friends and I would read those during sleepovers and we'd never be able to get to sleep!

Creepypasta and Reddit's Nosleep have some good scary stories.

hahaha my mom and i have been trying to find a scary movie that will make us lose sleep this month, so far no luck. but in college my friends and i used to scour youtube for creepy stuff, and "bunny girl" (i think that's what the video was called and don't know if it's still on there) creeped me out a lot. also staring into the mirror in a dark room is fun, lol.
