Okay seriously guys, what's the go with Halloween? I live in Australia and while sure we have a few people who do Halloween parties, the two I've gone to were just a piss-up in half-assed costumes So what usually happens in countries that actually celebrate it? (I'm looking at you Americans :icon_wink)
From what I've experienced, people just get drunk and stupid and they feel like they are allowed to behave like children. I'm not one for Halloween although after this year I may look at it a little differently.
Drunk, stupid and childish... no wonder we don't celebrate it! That's a normal weekend! I do like the getting dressed up part though! Last year I went as a soldier. I'm thinking if anyone does a party this year, I might try and go as Cosmo from Fairly Odd Parents XD
Halloween in the UK sucks. They always seem to make such a huge deal of it in America (or at least in the movies). Everyone decorates their house and dresses up and everyone's running around the neighbourhood in costumes. Over here you'd be lucky to have more than a handful of houses on your road that'll even answer the door. (or at least in my area)
I am going wear a cut up speedo and put fake cuts and lesions all over my body and drench myself in fake blood for my costume!
