Have you ever liked you best friend?

Nope, while he is an amazing friend, I wouldn't want to date someone like him, he doesn't have the world's greatest personality and besides he's not very attractive.

It actually went the other way for me. My best friend had a crush on me for a couple years and even did things for me which I let her do out of courtesy but now regret it considering it was toying with her and letting her think I liked her. I haven't ever had a guy be my best friend but a lot of my friends that are guys are pretty cute.

 

Yes, I have liked my best friend. In some ways, I still like my best friend. It's a sobered kind of "like" since I know it will never happen though.

 

Yeah.. when I was first coming to terms with my sexuality I had a major crush on my best friend (who was female). It really sucked because she was majorly straight.

I never CRUSHED on my bf but I realized after a while that I had too many feelings and it was complicating our relationship. Haven't had a guy bestfriend since I put distance between us... I'm gonna stick to girls for now.

 

I've crushed on some very good friends before, but never my best friend. Although in every case, the crush came before the deep friendship, not the other way around.

Yes, with at least 3 people I consider best friends. Possibly a 4th also though I'm now questioning whether that was really love, or if I just thought he was cute and made the rest of him out to be something he wasn't just so that liking him became that much easier.

Call me crazy but I'm not interested in being in a relationship with someone that isn't a best friend to me. Of course as fate would have it all but one of the best friends I have now are straight. x_x

 

I've never fallen for any of my close guy friends, but I've told them on a few occasions that if they were gay, I'd date each of them in a heartbeat; they've also said that if they were gay--or if I was a girl--they'd date me instantly, too. :lol:

 

Nope. I've known her since 2nd grade and we spent pretty much every day together til we both went away to college. Even now, 3 and a half years later and on different coasts, we still talk every day. We have made out a few times (she gets curious when she's drunk), but I think of her as my sister. I love her to death, but I could never see her in any sort of romantic or sexual way.

It's not crazy. I used to be the exactly same way. The only difference between then and now is that now I'm more willing to go into the relationship first and see if the best-friend-ness develops in the course of the relationship.

 

Yes, I believed I was in love with my best friend in 11th grade. It's hard to say if it was real, but I definitely had a crush on her, yes.
