So in one of the forums that I regularly go to, there's a miscellaneous section and a thread, titled the same, for students from different countries to talk about school, or rant about school, or discuss school concepts, or compare difference in school systems. (though in that thread and forum, they occasionally sidetrack xD)

Or, if you're not in school and want to jump in and reminiscent, or have children in school, that works too!

    I will start!
I am a sophomore Biotechnology major....
right now I am multi-tasking EC and studying for microbiology.
I have a midterm monday and an organic chem midterm Friday.

and I have about 6 hours lab of organic chem every wednesday :/

EDIT: let's see how long this thread survives... or maybe a bad idea after all.

I'm a sophomore electronic media sports production major.
I have a video due on thursday.
I'm not even halfway done with the editing..
I also have to make a detailed powerpoint presentation about gender neutral dorms.

I'm working on a dual degree: BS in Geology, BA in Religious Studies. I'm in my fifth year. I'm mostly working on my senior project, as I've fulfilled all the other requirements for my degrees, but I'm also taking a class in Glaciology and another on the Book of Genesis.

Yep! It's pretty specific. My university is thinking about changing the name to electronic media live production though. So, I pretty much do live production stuff.

lol. will the name change happen before or after your graduation?

are you like, post-bach, or your dual majoring just takes a bit more time, haha.

I graduated in May of this year with a B.A. in Classics.

I had planned to go to graduate school, but that plan fell through. Right now I'm hoping to apply to law school for the Fall 2013 semester.

It just takes more time. I'll graduate with almost 200 credit hours.

I am a junior, my major is -- literally translated -- Stage and Cabaret, but I usually just say Acting.
I'm gonna start a second major next year, either English or Sociology.
Luckily I usually don't really have a lot of essays or midterms. Instead we have scenes we have to perform and stuff like that.
At the moment I'm on an exchange here in Oklahoma, taking sociology courses. I love them! I must say, though, it is waaaayy easier here than it is back home. I've never had more A's in my life than I get here!

Haha my dad is from the US, so I come here quite often, but I'd never been to the South before! I must say, it's really not as bad as people say it is :surprised I'm really having a great time!
So you're from Texas, then, or?

2nd year chemistry. I got 1st mid term in organic chemistry next friday (yeah, I'll have 2 tests in oc before my finals), tuesday and wednesday I got oc lab + a seminar in NMR spectroscopy.
thursday and friday I got lectures all day (8 am. to 5:30 pm) almost nonstop but an almost completely free monday (since I do not need English classes (not native)). But I think the timetable is horrible. Furthermore, the credit system is not just with my course of studies. Compared to environmental engeneering (same uni) we're sceduled to do 30% more work but get the same credits.

College for me is on hold at the moment. But i'd be a freshman, completed 2 terms, studying Business Administration. did ok in first semester, barely passed the second. plan on continuing eventually, and possibly choosing another major or simply adding onto the one i'm wanting to learn.

I'm in college. I'm in a very rigorous, five-year program for American Sign Language interpreting. I also have a second major in Political Science.

I'm a junior biochemistry major and classics minor. The plan is to go to medical school once I graduate.

Thanks awesome. My college sadly doesn't offer ASL, but a friend of mine started an ASL club, so we teach ourselves.

Going on to do Lit, I think, at Uni.
