I use a lot of things to keep my face clean and soft. Anti wrinkle creams, eye creams, face wash, face cream, face masks. Does anyone else do this?

No, I just use soap/water on it when I shower. I've never had any pimple or breakout before on my face. I'm not trying to maintain a boy-ish face though. I keep a permanent short stubbly beard.

No, I pretty much only shave. Perhaps I should wash my face occasionally, but I don't. Whatever. I don't ask my straight crushes how often they wash their face, but I'd venture that even if the answer were "zero times ever," I wouldn't be put off by it.

Really? You find your face is fine not washing it? Or washing it with soap? :O doesn't that dry your skin?

Ya really. I mean, sometimes I break out, but not often. I just sort of let it go away, lol.

EDIT: Oh, I didn't get that you were addressing Lance. Still, what I mentioned applies.

No, it doesn't dry my face out in my experience.

You use anti-wrinkle cream at 17?

I think you would be fine with just washing your face with soap or when you are in the shower. I wash my face after I shave. Actually, if I would use too many products or try to wash my face with too many products, my skin would become quite irritated.

All these chemicals can't all that good for you, unless there all water based and natural.

I am glad, because as I've said, people want to appreciate the body you actually have as opposed to a fake body you wish you had. You are already the person many people out in the world want. If you can remember that, you will have a healthy body image.

i use Neutrogena. so far it's doing the job. i just need to stay consistent. i only recently started taking a more serious care for my looks so i've yet to see a couple of weeks of daily use. also, my getting rid of blackheads is progressing as they are becoming less noticeable. i might try Bio Oil for the rest of my bod. from the reviews i've read it seems to work

Hehe  I wish I could tan for real but I burn. And I've had like 3 bad bad bad burns my whole body was blisters I could barley walk I wasn't allowed out side for 3 days I had all these sprays I had to use to numb the pain :frowning2: so I can't get a lot of sun or I could be at risk of sun cancer in the future

You know, and really that's fine. A tan is not cool. That's what our parents thought was cool. My dad has to go to the dermatologist regularly to get pre-cancerous bumps on his skin removed. Really it's not worth the pain.

People will still want to be with you.

There's really no reason to bother with anti-wrinkle cream at your age, and personally I don't find wrinkles unattractive. They're not a turn-on or anything, they're just neutral. My main face-related turn-off is facial hair.

And as I've said before, if you're looking for a long-term partner, the sort of people who won't date you because you look imperfect aren't the sort of people you want to date. I view my physical imperfections as a great way to weed that sort out.

    ^^ This.

And does anti-wrinkle cream really do anything anyways?

I guess you are going to hear from me now too, but to be authentic, you don't need to have a tan. Wish for something that you can have, and actually allows you to be authentic!

And anti wrinkle cream for me just moisturizers my wrinkle area. I also use pore reducers

As far as I know, every study on them has found them to have the same or less effect as just using a normal moisturiser.

^This ^, I only wash my face to keep it clean. No clearasil or anti aging creams for me.

I wash my face everyday with a special soap, but that's pretty much it; sometimes, I use a skin evener for those dark spots, and even then, that's very rare. Also, considering that I'm 21, I avoid the anti-wrinkle stuff. I honestly prefer to have the parentheses wrinkles (the one that forms from smiling or laughing) because I feel like they're indicative of the life I'm leading.
