If I propose to a girl, do I get her an engagement ring but then be an engaged woman with no ring? Or do I have to buy my own? Or put her in the awkward position of having to buy one without all the planning ahead I got to do? How does this work?

Nothing happening anytime soon, just a thought I had while daydreaming about my love.

This is a good question since I've asked it myself lol . Maybe propose to her without a ring at first, then you could go pick out a matching set together? I don't know, but that's all I can think of lol

I like the idea of being proposed to with a ring that my partner picked out. So I tend to think that you should propose with a ring and then you and your fiance could pick out your ring together. I think it is best if both people pay for the rings.
