I do not like that cold heartless object. It has taken so many lives and it continues to ruin ours. It is WET! It is cold. It is like the mowing the lawn but in the winter and its cold. People who ski are just no. You can't like snow. Look at Luke Skywalker he was almost killed in a cave because of the snow around him. Yeti's live in caves surrounded by school. If you like school you support Yeti's who kill children and eat people. Do you really want to be that way.

That is pretty much an illogical rant but the main part is: What do you like or dislike about snow?

I dislike everything about the cold and snow. That's why I can't wait to finish school and move to a state where there is zero snow and only minor cold weather(nothing colder than 50 degrees). Give me 80+ degrees year round.

I like the snow on days when I can actually spend time to enjoy it.

On any other day of the year when I'm busy and got places to go and things to do, snow is just a nuisance.

I love snow! It's so beautiful as it falls, and I always get really really excited when I first see it. Plus, once it accumulates, the environment gets very serene, very quiet and plain to look at, which makes it great for thinking.

I love the snow, and my anticipation for it is growing because there was hardly any last year and I want it back.

Whoever named Seasonal Affective Disorder was an asshat. "It's dark, and now you have SAD!" Such a cute name for irrational dread and lethargy that set in for four months straight every year :frowning2:

On the positive side I found one way to cope with my very negative experiences with winter cold and exposure, is to sculpt in snow. Kind of like making a snowman only I can make anything I want, and the materials are free. I really enjoy making life-sized deer or other large animals out of snow.

It takes a long time and it can get bitterly cold, but having a life-sized creature when I'm done is so fun. I could never afford clay or stone to make something so big. And I love leaving them on campus to surprise others. When the snow starts falling I think of the new things I will try to make and it brings me excitement instead of dread.

This year my goal is to make a lion, preferably one big enough to 'ride'. Childhood wish fulfillment eminent...!

Personally, I'd rather cold than hot :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: I'd take winter over summer any day.

It was fun when I was a kid and I had snow days, but now that I'm older I hate it. I'd rather deal with hot weather year round than cold.

Snow fucking sucks. We had like no fall here anyway. It pretty much just went, summer, smoke, winter.

I feel ya. We get down to the freezing point of Mercury sometimes.

Snow is beautiful, but frankly, shoveling it is awful. Especially wet snow. I also don't like it because it's very difficult to photograph snow well because it's very reflective and just a pain. I don't like winter much, but that's more of because of temperature (last year went down to -48 Celsius with windchill for two weeks) and having to be outside shoveling snow.

I went to college in New Hampshire for a year, and now go to school in upstate New York (and have lived in NY for 15 years), so I'm just sort of used to it at this point. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either.

Sadly, winter has both, but can't knock snow going for morning walks that look like picture a.
