If lesbians come out of the flannel closet; from what type of closet do gay guys come out from???

Just curious about you guys' opinions.

I think she's referring to flannel shirts (lesbians are stereotypically thought to wear those). Hmm, I don't think I'd like to know what sort of closet I come out of.

    How about the "velvet closet"??

    One question...
Flannel is supposed to be the model of shirt (JUST the shape) or the model AND the fact that has stripes'??

    I dunno…maybe the walk-in closet? That's pretty feminine…

Wow. I've never heard of the flannel closet.

Nor was I aware that we came out of an [insert adjective here] closet.

I don't get what the appeal is of flannel; I never really wear it. But then, I'm not a lesbian. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I don't think there is any one stereotypical gay male way of dressing other than being much more hip and fashionable than straight men.

lol, i love my flannel shirts. People usually take the piss and say i must think i'm a lumberjack which makes a certain monty python sketch come to mind.

Flannel is actually the material that the shirt is made out of. Most commonly it is used in pajama pants and things of that sort. Plaid is the pattern, which is also stereotypically lesbian as well as the fact that it is a button down shirt.
