I'm setting up a pole, but to include all of the candidates, It'll will take a little while to get it up. Let the battle begin! I'll be closing this vote at midnight tomorrow, so make sure you get your vote in soon!

I'll be adding some commentary every now and then, also.

Can I nominate myself for the position of "all-knowing leader of EC"?

I randomly googled one of the other candidates, and Stewart Alexander is the nominee for the Socialist party.

Oh, it's that kind of an election poll. Ah well.

Maybe it's just because I'm Canadian, but who knew there were so many goddamn candidates?

I know right? There are SOOO many independents this year that I just put one option for all of them...

A bit unsurprisingly, Barack Obama is winning the EC election so far!

I voted for Mitt Romney in the poll. Though it was an ironic vote.

I predict six votes for Romney. I have specific users in mind...

In the real election I would vote Obama (but I won't because I never got my ballot :dry:slight_smile:, but here I voted for Jill Stein. I wish she stood a chance of actually being elected -- her "Green New Deal" mentioned on Wikipedia sounds fantastic.

I agree. One thing that I thought was unfair was that the other Candidates (other than the Democratic or Republican) don't get to participate in the presidential debate.

Can we get an independent in the house?! ( read in the manner of an MC asking the audience at an event)

Yes, yes he is. He's pretty awesome. I wish he were on the ballot in my state, but he's not. Since I live in a solidly red state I'll be voting for the candidate on the ballot who comes closest to him: Jill Stein.

I'm a big-time supporter of Mitt Romney. He will end Obama's War on Religion and restore America's Judeo-Christian values after four years of this Kenyan Marxist Muslim assault on the traditional family.

Wow I had no idea so many people were running for president. It seems kinda pointless to vote for someone who isn't either a democrat or Republican since they get no recognition whatsoever. I mean, I had no idea so many people were running. I doubt a lot of other people know too. It's kinda sad though that the independent candidates don't get much recognition. We'd be better off if they did.

Did you think that Obama wouldn't win in a landslide?
