    almost finished i think its like 32x36 or something, big. acrylic on canvas. ill post the finished one when im done :slight_smile:.

    It's excellent!

    If I can make one comment (which I had to look for a while to notice): the thumb on the right side is just a single coloured blob, and it doesn't have the nice shading of the other fingers/rest of the hand. Unless it isn't supposed to be the thumb?

    I like it a lot. The detail and light/dark contrast on the hand makes it look realistic. Don't forget to post the final product! I love painting too, I'm currently building up my skill with acrylics and can't wait to move onto oils.

    thanks! i have actually heard many interpretations of what people think i meant by it and stuff.

    lol keep in mind art is going to be my job for my life

    thank you much! it is a thumb i forgot to shade that before i stopped for the day lol, problem is that i cant remember how i did parts of it so im kinda struggling with that damn thumb now.

    well even though some people put an order on it you dont necessarily have to do one than the other, some people find that they quite enjoy one over the other from the beginning, i think i like oil a tad better because it stays wet longer and feels easier to blend and work with right on the canvas.

    lol do you mean "use"? its acrylic debating on using oil to sharpen it though.

    not per-say, but im in college to be an illustrator so its kinda the same? starting my first year of ART school next fall.

    would it be against the rules to start an art thread? just make a constant thread where i can post art that i want to share?

    I like the color scheme you went with, its pretty good.
    I also like the concept of 2 people.
    Keep going! What color are you doing for the hair? Are they going to be 2 different colors? or the same?

    its funny as i was painting this the instructor asked me if i was a gemini, which is right on, born early june, right smack in the center of the gemini span. i have always loved the idea of duality in one being. aaannnyway the hair is going to be similar to the skin with pinks but far more white. (got hella blonde hair)
